The Fake Bake

I tried on a gold dress at lunch (not bad but not my favorite so far) and under the fluorescent lights it was abundantly clear that I will need some sort of tan prior to W-day. Are you planning to fake bake? Have you ever tried spray-on? Do you need a base coat? I am thinking I will need to do it after I get there so that it will be brownish for the wedding. Or at least not pale and mottled red. Definitely got the Irish skin. Happy St. Patty's Day!!
Anyway, if you are planning to, we need to find a place near you we can go to, and you should be the guinea pig, I think. Soon.

Still looking for bags

Check this site, maybe we can find for less, I like this kit, tho.

These benefit sea turtles and are SUPER cute....

Or, maybe we can make our own? Can't be all that difficult.

alcatraz info

I'm thinking of posting info on the wedding site on SF Bay Area stuff to see & do. One thing that I think people need to know is that you should make reservations for Alcatraz ahead of time, since it sells out (esp during the summer). Here's the link: http://www.alcatrazcruises.com/

guest gift bag option

Another tidbit from weddingbee:

Use coupon code marchsale on the final summary page when you check out, and make sure you enter it in all lowercase letters. This coupon can only be used once per customer and expires Friday, March 2, 2007 at midnight EST.

more weekend activity info

The two activities that I think would give the most bang-for-the-buck are the skunk train and boating on Clear Lake. I love waterskiing, now that I finally learned how to do it (in Tahiti), but the sad fact is I've only done it once (on the Sacramento Delta) since that Tahiti trip EIGHT years ago! Eek! And as for the skunk train, I think the kiddies would love it and it would get people out into the redwoods, which are so beautiful.
