invitation design
I like this design, for the colors, the simplicity, and the iconic image. It's modern, a little casual, but classy. Our colors & image & fonts would be different, but this is the feel I think I like.
But then, I also like the funky text, like this invitation:

I think the first one is more like the mood you were going for, no? It's pretty. Don't get too focused on the color.
