Tulle pizzazz
I don't even know how I got there, but I was looking for instructions on how to make a fairy tulle skirt (I'm thinking fairy party, again, I guess, for Amelie) that you fill like the flower girl skirts, and I found this tulle for $40 for a 50-yard bolt. I don't know how that compares but that seems pretty good. Who knows after shipping? Cheap way to make things feel wedding-ish and it can be re-used after.

organza tablecloth overlays
Is this a good deal? Is it too early to think about this, before we even know how many tables, what size, etc? I was just thinking of renting green or brown tablecloths or runners, not necessarily anything fancy like this, but this might be nice...

Cha chinggggg!
Ron (my boss) says I can use the color copier here for between 0 and 8 cents per copy. Nice!! I don't think we'll beat that deal. So you need to get your hands on that one book and we'll work on layout and stuff. We could see what we can do with Printshop, and if that doesn't work, we could buy a template, maybe? Want me to bring the Printshop software? It's a few years old, version 11.

Just in Case The Saratoga Springs People Make You Mad...
Did you look at this place (Pol Mountain Retreat near Santa Cruz)? They work with your budget and the basic idea is the same, very natural and retreat-ish. Nice slideshow. JUST in case.
website & honeymoon registry
So, what do you think - MarnieAndJames.com is available. Should I buy it? Or JamesAndMarnie.com? Have any other suggestions for domain names?
Also, I did a quick search on honeymoon registry. Should we sign up with a travel agent? Here's an example registry of a couple's trip to New Zealand and Australia. Seems neat. But I wonder... if we only got a little bit paid for via the registry, would we still go all-out and do the big plan? What if only a couple of people do the honeymoon registry, and everyone else goes for the more conventional registry? And which registry would be best, in terms of fees, etc? Denise, if you see any advice/articles out there about this, let me know.

Crafty Card Holder
Way cuter than the stupid cardboard wishing well, this one is shaped like a cake.
They have an article about a wedding craft book that sounds interesting. I am looking into it. Maybe the library has one.
Update: The same series has an instruction manual for cute homemade invitations, you could buy on Amazon for $8 and resell after or check your library.
